Iron Patriot Not In Iron Man 3, Despite Leaks

A few days ago, I reported on the fact that a few set photos from the upcoming Iron Man 3 had been leaked and showed that the Iron Patriot was apparently playing a role in the blockbuster.

It seems, though, that this is not the case. Latino Review is reporting that these images showed the new getup of War Machine, merely an update to the dull armour he was wearing in Iron Man 2. Furthermore, the man in the suit that was deemed to be James Badge Dale by many people has turned out to be just a stuntman.

Whilst the chance that War Machine’s new look will be called the “Iron Patriot” in Iron Man 3, you should probably tick the ‘real’ one off your ‘enemies in the film’ list.
