Microsoft Offering Minecraft Refunds
The gaming giant doesn’t often offer refunds, so take this one seriously. Owners of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition who are playing the game on standard definition televisions have a chance to get their money back due to compatibility issues.
It wasn’t clearly mentioned ahead of purchase that local split-screen on the game will not run in the standard definition format.
The refunds are being offered to customers who contact Microsoft’s Xbox 360 customer support, whilst a disclaimer has been added to the game’s listing on the Xbox Live service which clearly explains the problems that arise from playing it in standard definition.
Despite this, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has sold more than one million copies and has proved to be very popular on Xbox Live. It also received a very positive review from Media Blasphemy’s own Matthew Gildea.
